- Non-discrimination statements are prominently displayed on your website and student materials.
- Procedures for complaints and investigations are consistent, transparent, and compliant with federal regulations.
Title IX Coordinator
- A designated Title IX Coordinator is formally appointed and announced.
- Coordinator’s contact information is published and easy to locate.
- Coordinator receives regular training on Title IX laws and updates.
Training & Awareness
- Students, faculty, and staff receive annual Title IX training.
- Specialized training is provided for investigators, advisors, and hearing panel members.
- Training materials are documented and publicly available, as required.
Reporting & Response
- Multiple reporting channels (online, in-person, anonymous) are available for students and staff.
- Reports are acknowledged promptly, with clear communication to complainants and respondents.
- Interim measures (supportive services, no-contact directives, accommodations) are offered when appropriate.
Investigations & Hearings
- Investigations are impartial, thorough, and completed within a reasonable timeframe.
- Both parties have equal rights to advisors, evidence review, and hearings.
- Decision-making is free from bias, conflict of interest, or undue influence.
Recordkeeping & Transparency
- All Title IX records, including reports, investigations, and outcomes, are securely maintained.
- Annual security and compliance reports are completed and published.
- Regular audits of Title IX procedures are conducted to ensure ongoing compliance.
